Thank you to everyone who contributed to WECA’s annual fundraiser and awards ceremony, Goodnight Moon, which took place last night at the Goodman Atwood Community Center in Madison. It was a wonderful celebration of the early education field and a time to highlight the remarkable accomplishments of professionals who devote their lives to caring for and educating our young ones. Stuart Stotts hosted the event and presented awards to WECA’s Children’s Champion David Edie of the Wisconsin Council on Children & Families and WECA’s Profile in Excellence honoree Meriter Hospital Children’s Center. Proceeds from the event will be used to expand WECA’s mission of ensuring every child in Wisconsin has the highest quality early learning experiences.
