The Wisconsin Council on Children and Families (WCCF) is holding an interactive, advocacy training on March 21st that will include a state budget update with question and answer time. You’ll connect with peers from around the state, have lots of time for networking, learn valuable skills, and leave with tips and connections to enhance your advocacy efforts. PLUS you will be able to put your skills right to work with a visit to YOUR state senator and representative!

The training covers the following:
– Update on the 2013-2015 state budget and legislative issues affecting kids and families
– How to plan & implement a successful advocacy message on your issue(s)
– New legislative redistricting maps session
– A visit to the State Capitol to meet with state senators, representatives or staff
